Description

In this workshop, we will discuss features of healthy interpersonal relationships, based on psychology research and clinical practice.

We will review and practice strategies to deepen new or existing relationships, including authenticity, communication skills, and mindful self-compassion tools to improve relationships.


Learning Objectives

  • Understand the features and benefits of meaningful, healthy interpersonal relationships
  • Learn core communication skills to support your relationships, such as expressing needs and feelings, active listening, and conflict resolution
  • Apply mindful self-compassion tools to cultivate emotional regulation and sustain it during challenging times in relationships
