In this 5-week training program you will develop skills and insights necessary to navigate the complex landscape of communicating with the public. From reflecting about your communication objectives and audiences, to developing strategies to communicate effectively orally, in writing and through social media, this program will help you create compelling messages tailored to your audience, ensuring your message resonates and leaves a lasting impact.

NOTE: Doctoral students interested in applying for the Public Scholars Program must complete this training to receive an invitation to apply.


Learning Objectives

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
  • Identify a message or finding they want to share and who it will impact.

  • Apply strategies to communicate their research to diverse audiences.

  • Use different platforms to convey findings from their research.
