PhD Career Connect 2026 | GPCB099

Description

Are you a PhD student or postdoc wondering what comes next? Whether you already have a direction in mind or are still exploring the possibilities, PhD Career Connect will help you uncover your strengths, articulate your transferable skills, and expand your career horizons so you can move forward with clarity and confidence toward the paths that inspire you.

The program occurs over an 8-week period and includes workshops centered on building a professional resume and LinkedIn profile, identifying your transferable skills and strengths, mastering job search and networking techniques and obtaining concrete feedback and skills through experiential learning. The workshops are designed and delivered in a strategic manner allowing you to build upon each week's lessons to ensure you feel confident about forging your career path.

Upon completion of the program, you will be invited to a networking conference in June where you will have ample opportunity to network with employers, hear success stories from PhD Alumni and learn more about various non-traditional career opportunities.

You will come out of this training having uncovered new career paths to apply your doctoral education, gained new and meaningful connections with both employers and fellow colleagues, and feeling confident about the strengths and value you bring to the labor market.

Please note that to apply for PhD Career Connect, you must complete this application form before February 10, 2026, 11:59pm EST. You will be contacted the week of February 24th with confirmation of your participation in the program.

Participant Feedback

One of the highlights was participating in a case study competition on Les Fermes Lufa / Lufa Farms, organized by Innovatank - The World Case Committee. I am deeply grateful for their support and the insights they provided. Additionally, the lessons and advice shared by professional advisors at Concordia University were invaluable and have left a lasting impact.” - Anthony Maturo, PhD Career Connect 2024 participant

Today was the last day of the PhD Career Connect course offered by GradProSkills and what a transformative journey it has been!...This course has allowed me to recenter the skills I have as a researcher, a storyteller and a social change strategist, helping me find the words to name what I know I can offer, and infusing my sails with confidence and a fantastic dose of team building power..” -PhD Career Connect 2024 participant
