Thesis mini boost | GRTP250

Description

Need to push through your thesis or research paper but feel stuck or isolated? Join us for Thesis mini-boost, a one-day event where you’ll have a focused day of writing and advice to accelerate your writing progress.

This one-day event offers graduate students in the middle to late stages of thesis or academic article writing a chance to connect with peers, gain valuable insights, and make strides in their projects. With dedicated focus sessions and advice on improving your writing strategy, this event will help jumpstart or accelerate your writing.

Whether you need a quick charge in motivation, productivity, or writing techniques, this event will help you tackle your thesis with renewed energy and focus. Join us to break free from isolation, connect with fellow graduate students, and develop productive writing habits. Take a significant step towards completing your thesis!

This event is free and open to graduate students and postdoctoral researchers currently working on their thesis or research paper.

IMPORTANT: Light refreshments will be provided. Spillproof mugs are mandatory in the room. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch and use the lunch break to network with others. Microwaves and lunch tables are available near the venue.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the one-day thesis charge-up, participants will be able to:
