Navigating new technology can be both challenging and exciting. Mastering the ethical use of AI is essential for academic integrity and will likely be critical in your future career. This 2-hour interactive workshop is designed for both undergrad and grad students to delve into the ethical use of generative AI tools (like ChatGPT). Explore their benefits, their possible pitfalls, and where the line between helpful assistance and academic dishonesty lies.

Learning Objectives

Participants should leave with a greater understanding of the ethical use of AI in higher levels of academic writing, and the benefits and consequences of its use.
