Prototyping and Usability Testing | GPCB595

Description

Are you a perfectionist? An over-thinker? Stickler for the details?

In this workshop, you will live through the uncomfortable experience of jumping into prototyping – an iterative process that takes ideas and makes them tangible for testing - without having all the information.

What can we gain from this practice? Join us to see what insights you can learn from immediately trying something out, so that you can move forward with a project and break out of the cycle of endless planning.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, you will be able to:
• Define prototyping
• List different forms of prototypes
• Build a prototype for your solution
• Test your prototype effectively with potential users
• Collect feedback from users around product design, usability and functionality
• Extract useful insights from the feedback collected
• Iterate the product design based on the insights extracted
