Alex Gavrila


Alex Gavrila, is a Ph.D. candidate in Neuroscience (Experimental Psychology) and Director of Science & Policy Exchange. He has a keen interest in behavioural economics, policy, and finance and has researched key aspects of modern economies such as: rehypothecation of collateralized financial assets, dark pools, high frequency trading algos, and the overall operation of the shadow banking system. He enjoys discussing and debating important policy issues with key Canadian and international stakeholders and policy-makers.
