Description

What do you do during a poster session?  What makes for a successful academic poster?  Maybe you have been doing research for a long time and don’t know how to condense it.  Maybe you are new to the research world, and you doubt that you have enough done to present.  In this workshop, we discuss the academic poster session, how to design a poster, and provide some tips for shining as you present your poster.

When you leave this workshop, you will be able to:
-Describe the purpose of a poster session
-Design an academic poster for different stages of research
-Prepare your poster pitch for presentation

Leaders Information

Maxine Iannuccilli is a doctoral candidate in psychology at Concordia University, leading SSHRC-funded research examining the development of gender stereotypes. Maxine is a SSHRC Storytellers Top 25 Finalist & Concordia University’s 2022 Three Minute Thesis competition (3MT) PhD Winner.
